MISSION OF THE TNT ASSOCIATION IS PROVIDE EDUCATION TO THYROID ULTRASOUND-GUIDED THERMAL ABLATIVE TECHNIQUES
RATIONALE AND AIMS
This is an overview course that will summarize and introduce radiofrequency ablation (RFA) for use in the management of Thyroid Benign and Malignant Nodules.
This two-day course includes both theoretical and practical sessions where participants will be able to test the technology using a phantom model in between live case observations.
Course Objectives
- Review thyroid ultrasonography, Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology (FNAC), Core Needle Biopsy (CNB)
- Understand the principles of thermal ablation and RFA
- Identify current indications of thermal ablation and RFA
- Know and prevent thermal ablation side effects
- Describe the procedure setup
- Employ the proper ablation technique on a phantom
- Closely observe RFA procedure model
- Explore new indications of thermal ablation and RFA

For cancellations within 60 days of the event, no fee will be charged; for cancellations within 30 days before the event, 50% of the amount will be withheld; from 20 days before the event, no refund will be provided.
